Family Pictures- Ciara Richardson Photography

Back in June I entered a contest to win a Free photo session

But this was not just any photo session this was with the 

amazing Ciara Richardson 

She had a contest that you submit a picture and 

who ever gets the most likes on their picture on facebook
won a Free session with her

I was so excited 

Seriously I wanted it so bad

I loved her style of photography

but since we are in school and poor 

this was my only chance to get them 

And lets say when I want some thing bad I am competitive

I got on and asked every single one of my facebook friends to vote,

I asked family to vote, I asked on my blog for my readers to vote

and I even text some of my friends to like it and vote

and all of that time and effort I spent getting a hold of everyone paid off 

and I totally won 

And its a good thing cuz I was a crazy stress case the whole week 

it was going on. I just wanted it to be over 

And luckily It had a happy ending for me

Ciara contacted me told me I won and we scheduled a time to do them

We did it on July 19th

And it was a beautiful day

It rained for a sec but it made for amazing lighting 

We did two different outfits a vintage dressy look and a 

bright colored fun casual look

And the only thing I bought was Ty's blue shirt and my necklace

Maddux will always rub his eyes when he is sleepy

It is adorable

 I am so glad she was able to capture real moments like this

There is never a dull moment since Maddux entered our lives

This little stinker was not an easy one to photograph but

Ciara got a ton of adorable ones 

and also captured moments like this 

that really brought out his personality 

He is such a stud...watch your daughters :)

I really really LOVE him

Sure why not I'll run around with no shirt haha

Peek a Boo

He completely melts my heart

Salt Lake Temple Square Visit

Also in July my parents and little siblings went throughout all of Utah and 

visited every temple in the state throughout a week

and they invited us to come to the Salt Lake Temple square with them

I was glad we were able to go with them 

cuz we couldn't go to the other ones due to Ty's work and school

so it was fun to see what they did at each temple

First we all sat down on some grass right outside the temple grounds

and my mom read the history, some facts 

and a couple fun stories about the Salt Lake Temple

Then we went in the visitors center 

and watched a couple presentations 

one was on eternal families

the cute sister missionaries showed it to us

It was so good

And it made me feel so blessed to have my family, Ty's family, 

our own little family 

and the gospel in my life

Then we walked the temple grounds

talked, laughed, took pictures

and talked more about the temple

Every time I see this beautiful temple I can't help but think

of mine and Ty's wedding day 4 years ago

It was the most perfect day

and I love thinking all about how beautiful it really was

I feel so blessed to have married the man of my dreams in the temple

and to have the sweetest little man

I love the grounds at temple square so pretty

I am getting so excited to go to the lights soon!

After our Salt Lake temple grounds tour 

we went to Crown Burgar 

and Zachy decided to give Maddux a little shoulder rub 

M loved it he looked so relaxed

but who doesn't love a shoulder rub

That was such a fun time 

Thank you mom and dad for inviting us

so we could all reflect on the temples and their importance

Carseat Cuteness to the Max

Back in June we went to parade of homes in 

Davis County with my parents

And our cute Maddux was having a blast in the car

in between the houses

He was entertaining us all day

and I just had to snap some pictures of it 

to show how fun he was being

This was the cutest he kept playing peek a boo with us

but he would cover his eyes like this

and then we would say "where's Maddux?"

and he would put his arms out like this

and we would say "There He is!"

It was adorable

and he kept doing it over and over again!

I love when he is concentrated on something

his face is so sweet

That smile melts my heart

Our sleepy little man on the ride home 

after a long day of going in and out of houses

and in his car seat a lot

he was such a trooper 

and happy boy!
