Little "M"s ABC Wall

Now that Little Maddux is almost 9 months old and we have been moved into our new apartment for almost 7 months I finally got these suckers up on the wall! Yahoo!

...and I am in L.O.V.E!
When we first moved in his room was pinkish white and Ty's grandma said that we could paint his room so we went off to home depot and I found a mis-tint for only $5 and then we got another gallon at regular price but we ended up saving $25 and it was the perfect color we were looking for. I love the brown with the white trim. Thank you mom for helping practically painting the whole room for me. :)

Also I will get better pictures of it later but that dresser right there on the right Ty and I redid too! We got it done actually before Maddux was born so that was nice. We got it for FREE yup that's right Free. It doesn't get much better than that. When we got it it was a sold oak old brown color with gold hardware and I really wanted to paint it blue. So my mom and I went to Lowes down in St. George while our boys were golfing and again we found this PERFECT color in a mis-tint and I got a whole gallon for only $5. And we didn't even use half of it to do the whole dresser. We also decided to do rope pulls for the hardware and it is so fun for a boys room. We are also working on a project right now for above his crib that we will be using some more of that blue paint for. I will post pictures of it as soon as it is done. So make sure to check back.

So back to the ABC wall. I have wanted one of these ever since I found out I was pregnant with Maddux. This was my inspiration and I just wanted to do my own version of it. Well I have been collecting these bad boys from back when I was preggers. I bought some and my mom gave me over half of them for one of my baby showers. Isn't that soooo awesome of her?! She is amazing and she wanted me to have this wall just as much as I did. We got them from different stores such as Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Roberts and JoAnnes because we wanted different fonts, styles and sizes. We got them all plan and none of them had color on them so we could pick out the colors to match his room. As soon as we got them all. My mom and I got to work choosing the paint and the paper that we wanted to cover them with. I used some I had, some my mom had, and I bought some new.

...Then we got to work and painted some plain colors and Mod podged paper on the others. Little M's room is Blue and Brown with an accent of red if you cant tell. After we got them all done it was time to get them up on the wall. I first placed them down on the floor in an area that I measured the same as the space I had on the wall and I laid them down how I wanted them to look and took a picture and then I used that picture as a map for when I put them up on the wall and Wala! This is the finished ABC wall. We still have a lot to get done with his room but once everything is up I will take a picture of his whole room completed hopefully that will be within the next few weeks. I know most people get their nurseries done before the baby gets here but since we were moving just 2 months after he was born I couldn't do it before and then after the move and everything I am just getting to it but I am loving it and Maddux is getting to the age that he loves having colorful stuff on his walls too.

I also love that the ABC wall is cute for not only babies but he can have this in his room when he is a toddler and a growing kid. It will be so fun to teach him his ABCs from this wall and he can see them whenever he wants.
My favorite part is for all 27 characters up on the wall to complete the ABCs (the alphabet and the & symbol = 27 if you were wondering where I go that from haha) I only had to put 1 nail hole in that whole wall. Yup ONE! and it was for the O which is the clock. The rest of the letters were hung up with these bad boys....Command strips. My mom introduced me to these and I just think they are the best things ever invented.  If you have never used these...you HAVE to. They are awesome and you don't have to worry about all the holes especially if you are renting. I only had to get 2 packages of 12 and I got $1 off coupons online for each package so for both it was like $10 and so worth it.

....Now I just can't wait to finish the other projects for his room and get them up on here for ya'll to see.

Self-Portrait Fun!

Yup, This is me and the many faces of me. LOL. I felt a little weird doing this at first but just like Ashley at LMM said, it is really fun. So I took her challenge and joined in on the "Self Portrait Link Party". I don't quite pull it off like she does but it was still a blast. I love this blog you should for sure check it out if you haven't already. I love her outlook on life, her mommy stories and her fashion. Also you should join the PARTY! Who doesn't like a good party anyway.

Ashley writes on her blog:

Yep, we're really doing this.
We're busting out the camera,
setting aside our fears,
stepping out of our comfort zone,
channeling our spunk,
embracing the beauty that is YOU,
capturing the moment,
and then posting those pictures
right here, right now
so others can see
your shining faces!

A cute girl from here said this about the link party: "No this is not a contest to see who is the hottest! it's about embracing who you are. Loving yourself and being proud of yourself."

This is why I love these parties because then I can see what other lovely and talented bloggers are out there. Mine is more like just a journal but I love to look at the craft/ DIY/ fashion/ photo/ other talents blogs. I am a bit addicted actually.

Welp...here I am...no censoring...just my goofy self

Lady gagaing it up
The closest thing to a serious glamour shot I got haha...embarrassing much? yeah Maybe Ty will like it at least I don't know
Hmmmmmm
Last one is me thinking about how I need to get to the gym...As you can tell I'm not took excited about that, but this baby weight has got to come off sometime right?!
I love being a wife and mama!!!!

I'm a stay at home mommy
I attempt to cook
I love to clean
I'm a house wife
I like teen shows
I love to blog stock
I like to run
I am gonna teach PE one day
I like to decorate
I love my family
I went to the Dashboard Concert here in SLC with my little sister and I frikin had a Blast! It reminded me of my single college days of going to concerts and pushing my way to the front...touching the railing, singing my heart out, getting pushed around and just plan having a fantastic time. It was such a fun experience to go with my little sis and let her see that crazy but fun side of me. I hope I didn't freak her out too much. I LOVE being a mommy but it was fun to have a night off and just let my hair down for a bit. Ty was the best hubby ever and stayed home to play with our little M all night. What a good Daddy.

Me and Manda Panda...at the concert

Oh and of course I had to buy my shirt to prove I was there and yes I did push myself to the very front. I almost touched Chris. If you don't know already I get a little crazy around celebrities, Especially if I Love their music.

I'm not sure why I am surprised here but I do like workin me some Lady Gaga poses!

L.O.V.E.
Perfect for the Hubby!
(don't you think he should keep this on his night stand?) haha
Perfect for V-day coming up.

This is my .Pretty little Liars. picture
Have you ever seen this show?
Haha well confession time:
It is on ABC family and is probably geared more toward teens not 20 something year olds but I love it and am addicted to it. In fact the time when we were moving and didn't have cable for a while I missed it and need to get caught up on hulu. The show is based off of books which I need to hop on over to the library and get ASAP
It is also a pretty good secrets picture...don't ya think?
Which reminds me Ashley also has this Sisterhood of Secrets segment that is really interesting to read about.
I think I should be her mascot or whatever haha j/k

Baby Maddux just woke up from his nap so it is off the computer time and back to real life. Playing with the babe and enjoying every since laugh and smile. Make sure to visit LMM and link up to her party

8 months old

I seriously can't believe this little bugger is 8 months old. Well he is technically 8 1/2 months old but this post and the picture are from when he turned 8 months on Dec. 28th 2010. He is continuing to learn and to grow and is just a happy pleasant fun little man. He is our whole entire world everything we do is for him and we just love staring at him, playing with him, teaching him and making him laugh. He was so spoiled this month with seeing all his family and cousins and with all the fun parties and get togethers for Christmas and New Years. Pretty much his whole 8th month was a party. He is getting cuter and even more fun every single day. I don't know how that is possible but he manages to do so :)

Here is a little about our little "M" at 8 months old:
**In his 8th month he had his First Christmas- This is daddy and Maddux on Christmas morning right before going downstairs to see what Santa Brought 12-25-10
**He had fun at the Ulrich Christmas party and the Jacobs Christmas Eve party

**Maddux loves the lights on the windows and the tree-decoration for Christmas. He is mesmerized by them and likes to eat the ornaments off the tree too.
**He did a lot of Christmas shopping with mommy

**Yes, he is naked here. HE LOVES to be naked he tries to crawl away before I can get his diaper on him. He would be naked all day if I would let him.
**He loves Ty's cousins little boy Carson and they have so much fun together. Carson is only 7 months older than Maddux and I think they will have a lot of fun together when they get older especially.

**He is still in love with his binkie. This could be a problem later but I don't see anything wrong with it now in fact it is kind of nice that he can soothe himself  sometimes.
**This cutie pie is getting so stinkin big and too smart for his own good he just learned how to pull himself up one stair at grandma and grandpa Ulrich's house. He gets better at it each time we go over there and thinks it is a fun new trick.

**He is such a happy baby and is constantly laughing and smiling. Even when he is upset we can make a funny face and he will smile at us.
**He loved being able to hang out with all of his cousins during the holidays and has a lot of fun playing with them and following them around.
**Dux loves his grandma and grandpa Jacobs and his grandma and grandpa Ulrich

**Maddux loves food and is such a good little eater. He is eating fruits, veggies and some meats. He has also had a little bit of ham, turkey and mashed potatoes.
** Maddux can feed himself his baby Cheetos and puffs. It is fun to watch him pick them up and feed them to himself he has gotten really good at it and doesn't want us to help him. We call them treats and whenever I ask him if he wants a treat he goes crazy and gets all excited he knows exactly what treat means :)
**He also just tried the baby mum mums and loves them...they are rice cakes and they don't leave a mess on them. He also just tried the dried yogurt bites and seems to really like them. I tried them and they are pretty good :)

**Little M is crawling...like real crawling now not just scooting and he is sooooo fast at it. He is a little maniac.
**He was so spoiled this month and got to see daddy a lot more during Ty's 3 week Christmas break. Maddux loved his daddy time and all the extra attention.
**The Christmas lights at temple square were his favorite...he couldn't get enough of them and he loved just being in the sling on mommy's hip the whole night all bundled up and warm.

**Maddux loves his grandma Julie's dog sparky and his aunt Jess' dog Daisy he will just follow them around and tries to pull their tails. They are so patient with him. When Sparky does try to lick him he has already learned to push him away it is so funny. Also when we go over to Ty's parents house sparky is the first to come and say hi to Maddux he will stick his little head in Maddux's car seat to see him and it makes M so happy.
**He is still sleeping really well through the night and taking 2-3 naps a day. He also sleeps really well in his new port-a-crib. He took a lot of naps in the port-a-crib when all his cousins were here when we did a lot of visiting

**My little Dux has two teeth. They are his middle two on the bottom. He got his first tooth on 12-4-10 and then his second tooth broke through the next day.
**He loves to wear beanies and his favorite ones are his orange Mohawk one, his green one from grandma Julie and the blue one that grandma Leanne made.
**He has some really cute baby mittens that look like little blue monsters and he loves them and of course they keep his sweet little fingers all snug and warm

**He is pulling himself up on furniture. He pulls himself up on his crib, the couch, the coffee table, the TV stand and anything else he can find to help him get to his feet. Whenever I go and get him from his nap he is always on his feet now hollering for us.
** He loved Christmas and all his new toys
**He is a little bully to his cousin Seb who is two months older than Maddux. He climbs all over him and takes his food and toys away from him. You can't tell he is an only child can ya?
**He likes to have his pointer finger up all the time and picks stuff up on his own with his little pointer finger and chubby little thumbs

**During his 8th month he got to go to the festival of trees with mommy, grandma Julie and cousin Ayla. He loved all the lights and decorations and mommy had fun looking at all the trees too.
**He loves his Sunday naps I think he likes them just as much as his mommy and daddy. He always seems to sleep more on Sundays it is so weird its like he just knows. Probably because we would have to wake him up for church when it was at 9
**He likes to sit in his bumbo when he is watching his shows or when he is watching mommy get ready in the morning, but he has learned how to get out of it so there is no more putting it on raised surfaces

**Dux gives us kisses now and it is so cute. If we ask for a kiss he will open his mouth and lean toward us
**He is starting to do baby talk and is babbling all the time...it is so cute
**He likes to play with the keyboard buttons
**He loves paper..especially eat it which is a big no no the little stinker
** Dux does this really cute thing that when he is sitting around, laying in his car seat or when I am just holding him he will sit there and roll his little ankles around it is so cute

**This little stinker loves the bathroom. We have to keep the door closed or he is in there. I know it is silly but he love sit. I think because our whole apartment is carpet except the bathroom so I think that's why he likes it.
**He love bath time and showers. He is all smiles the entire time and loves to splash and float on his back.
**Dux likes to stick his tongue out and do raspberries with it
**This little man is the most ticklish baby I have ever seen and he cracks up every time we tickle him. He loves it.

**Dux Loves with a capital L Loves baby Einstein videos and is constantly watching them on the Ipod and has one DVD to watch on the big TV. He will even hold the Ipod in his own cute little hands lay on his back and watch the video without a peep.
**He slept over at grandma and grandpa Jacobs house on Christmas eve and on new years eve and on new years eve he slept in uncle Ammon's room which Ammon was so excited about. We woke up to hearing Ammon playing with him the next morning...we heard it through the monitor

**Maddux loves to hum and make the mmmmmmmm sound he is constantly doing it. I think it feels good on his gums.
**He likes to watch dinosaur train and the cat in the hat on PBS
**He likes to sit on mama's lap when he is watching TV if he is watching a show and I sit down he will crawl up into my nap....aww it just melts my heart I love it so much. I almost started crying the first time he did that. Ok maybe I did cry :)

**This little man is in size 3 diapers
**He wears mostly 6-9 and 9-12 size clothes depending on the brand.
**He wears size 2 to 3 depending on the brand of shoes
**He nurses well still but has bitten me a few times.

**He loves to play with mommy's necklaces, ear rings and watch bands.
**His new favorite toy that he sleeps with every nap and at night is his new glow seahorse
**He loves music it makes him smile and calms him down. when music is playing it gets his full attention especially at church. He loves when daddy plays the piano for him.
**He loves to play with daddy's guitar and it constantly trying to pull himself up on them.

**He is still working on the sippy cup but we need to give it to him more so that he can learn to use it better. He can use it with help but doesn't know how to tip it by himself.
**He still likes car rides and they usually will put him to sleep. He especially likes when it is time to get in the car to pick daddy up from the bus stop
** I found the whole sheep from the nativity that was on my coffee table through December in his mouth on multiple occasions apparently he likes lamb haha.

**This little mischievous boy has a girl scream and it is hilarious but sometimes embarrassing when we are quiet places like church.
**He also likes to burp really loud in the middle of sacrament meeting.
**Dux HATES to have his nose wipes and cries every time he also hates to have his nails clipped which is not fun
**He still likes to be swaddled up for naps and night time but likes to have his arms out

**He likes to sit in the cart at the store out of his car seat and buckled in the cart like a big boy. He likes to be able to look all around and flirt with all the people in the store. We get so many compliments on him and how beautiful his eyes are at stores. I love it in fact just a few weeks ago at the DI there was this cute older gentleman that kept playing with Maddux and it was so stinkin cute his wife just kept saying how much he loves babies.
**He is always sleeping with a humidifier now because the air is so dry this winter if we don't have it one he has dry boogies everywhere but every night we have it on he wakes up clear. So it is his new best friend going all night long
**He sleeps on his tummy. We will lay him on his back but he flips right on over to his tummy to fall asleep

Our little man is so so so so sweet and I seriously couldn't ask for a better baby. I am so blessed to be his mommy and I know his daddy feels the same way. I am so grateful to be able to stay home with him and to teach him and watch him grow. We are so in love with little "M" and feel so blessed and thankful he is apart of our little family. We just feel whole with him in our lives.

Make sure to read on...There is the New Years post below this one :)

Happy New Year

I can't believe it is already a new year the last year flew by...so many good things happened throughout the year most importantly was the arrival of our little man Maddux in April. We hope that 2011 will be just as wonderful.
Sometime during the week in between Christmas and New years we were back and forth between our house and my parents house to see my sister and her family as much as we could before they had to go back. This picture is me, Amanda and Traci playing Just Dance and Emilee is watching us waiting for her turn. Emilee and Amanda were the best ones at this game. But it was so much fun  I just need more practice.

This is another night at my parents. We were up there late one night playing card games and Maddux just woke up from his nap but was a little cranky still so we put him in his seat, got him all snuggled up with a blankie, gave him his passy and turned on his favorite Baby Einstein for him to watch. He was so good and loved every minute of it and it was nice for us to be able to finish our game.

The night before new years Eve Ty and I invited my little brother Ammon over for a sleepover at our house. It was a lot of fun and since we just got cable he was in heaven with all the cartoons that he got to watch. He was up until 12:30 watching cartoon network :) He brought along with him some of his new Legos from Christmas and so the next morning he was setting them up and taking picture of them. I later found a couple on my camera. So cute.

For New Years Eve we came up to my parents and spent the night that night there too. We laughed, talked, played games, cooked, ate junk food, and just hung out all night. At 10:00 pm we had a little pretend New Years celebration for the little kids so they could go to bed and then the rest of us stayed up and played card games and ate and celebrated the real thing at midnight with the older bunch.

Happy New Year at 10pm...shhh don't tell the little one's they didn't stay up until midnight haha. They wouldn't have made it anyway they were getting really tired. But this way they were still able to yell happy new year and use the noise makers. Plus from where my sister and her kids were from it was midnight in their time zone so that counts for her kids right?! haha

Ammon and Zach are very excited for the new year to start...either that or they are just excited to stay up late and get a sugar high either way they were having a lot of fun.

I think the neighbors and the cars driving by probably thought we were a little crazy when they saw us and heard us with our noise makers and screaming happy New year on the front porch at 10pm haha oh well it was a blast and this way the babies could go to sleep and wouldn't get woken up by all the noise later.

Ty and I taught my family how to play a card game called Lucky Under. It is so much fun and they all loved it. It is my dad's new favorite game and he doesn't like many card games.

Even Zach and Emilee played with us. Ammon was on a team and would pick a different partner each game but he later caught on from watching us play so many times that he knows how to play on his own now too.
I think we all had a lot of fun! But I ate way too many peanut butter cookies and fudge.

Me celebrating the new year! Very excited for a new and fresh start :)
BTW those little maracas were Maddux's and Seb's favorite toys ever. Maddux still plays with his. I guess I should have just gone to the dollar store and got a bunch of toys like that for him for Christmas haha.

This is the real Happy New Year Celebration at midnight witht he older clan.
Cheering to the New year with our sparkling grape cider. MMM...

Me and my cute hubby bubby starting off the New year right with smiles, loves and right next to each other. I love you honey and I'm excited to see what this year brings us as a couple and as a family.
After midnight we finished our game and went off to bed.

On New Years day we headed over to Odgen for the Ulrich New Years day lunch and Volleyball tournament. It was a lot of fun to be able to hang out with the Ulrich clan and eat yummy food and watch the Odgen Ulrich's vs. the Salt Lake Ulrich's in Volleyball. Ty played and did really good and Maddux and I watched with some of Ty's cute cousins. The Salt Lake Ulrich's ended up losing but it was so close I thought we almost had it. Darn. I would have played but I am pretty sure I would have just made our lose even worse not better. The rest of that day we hung out with my family again and then headed to Ty's mom and dads for dinner and a game. It was such a fun and relaxing day.

On Monday January 3rd me, my mom and Traci all ran some errands while the boys went to lunch. I ended up getting an awesome book called Organized mom at seagull book for only $1.99 and a couple board books for Maddux I also got an awesome sofa table for only $20 at the DI that I will be repainting soon so make sure to watch for that post coming soon and to end the day us girls went to chilies and had some chips and a chocolate molten. mmm.

When we got home it was time for my sister, brother in law and my cute nephews to finally go back to their home in Canada :( We all packed up in the cars and went to the air port with them to help them get everything in and say bye to them. This is Ben getting ready to hit the road to the airport.

Cute little Julien ready to go. It was sad saying bye to them since we only get to see them once a year. We had so much fun with them here and can't wait for the next visit.

After dropping them off at the airport my family came over to our place to eat dinner and hang out for a little bit since it is close to the airport. It is always fun to have them over and since it was family night it just seemed perfect.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Christmas 2010

Yes y'all I am very behind but since this is like a journal to me and since it was little "M"s first Christmas I decided I better document it and attempt to get all caught up....and yes being better at blogging is one of my new years resolutions.

Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year. Everything about it is magical. Don't you agree? We had a beautiful Christmas and there is nothing I could or would change about it. Perfection. First of all I think I was the first person to wake up in the whole Jacobs household. I was up at 6 am and peaking through my stocking poking at Ty and my little sisters telling them it was Christmas. I am still like a little kid and get so so excited for Christmas morning and since this was little Maddux's first Christmas I was even that much more excited. I really wanted company until it was time for everyone else to get up. Once those three were awake we were all looking through our stockings and talking until everyone else got up. at about 7 am everyone was up and ready to see what Santa and everyone else brought.

Traci's family looking at their stockings before we all headed down stairs

Zach and Ammon getting excited to see what was in store for them

Look at that adorable face. Oh my goodness no joke this is how we found him in the port-a-crib. Doesn't that face just scream Christmas morning. Once I saw that face I didn't even need to go downstairs all I wanted to do is snuggle this little man. I want to cry just looking at that sweet face. awwww

This is how we all feel Christmas morning. Emilee is tired, Amanda is excited, I am crazy from the lack of sleep and excitedness and Ty wants to die he is so tired (but I don't feel bad for him cuz he is the one that wanted to stay up until 5 am playing card games)

Right about the time we all got downstairs before we got to any presents my grandma and grandpa Jacobs came to visit for a little bit and see what all the kids got. My grandparents always make the rounds to all their kids houses on Christmas morning. They came really early this year we all barely woke up when we heard the knock at the door. So they watched us all open some presents for a while before heading off to the next family's house.

I L.O.V.E. baby Maddux's reaction to his big bouncer from Santa. He loved it so much and we couldn't be more excited. There is music on it, all sorts of toys a tray to put snacks, it spins and he can bounce in it.

Amanda was so excited about Santa bringing her some toms :)

Emilee got Just dance 2 from Santa and after we were all done opening presents that morning a few of us tried it out. It was so much fun, but harder than you would think.

Ammon got his Lego airplane that he wanted so so bad! He was so excited he could barely contain himself. I think he wanted to build it right that second. He loved Legos more than any little boy I have ever met he has so many and is constantly building. He builds them all by himself and even saying he is going to be an architect when he grows up. I hope he follows that dream.

Julien and Ben got light-sabers and Ben even got a Darth Vader mask to go along with it

My little nephew Seb...he looks so tired playing with his new toy

Maddux was excited for his toys but I think he liked eating the wrapping paper even more.

His glow seahorse! I love this it is so cute and I had to get it for him. He has slept with it every night since Christmas. Isn't that adorable. He loves it. It lights up like a glow worm and sings but it is even cuter.

Adam's present from Traci and Stephane....don't ask???????? yikes.
hahaha

Ty opening one of the presents from my parents. We got the Fathers of Faith book that we have been wanting and a really cute saying in subway art design that was all framed for us for our home and I know right where I am going to put it...

Love Simply
Laugh Often
Love Much
Speak Kindly
Care Deeply
Expect Little
Give Generously
Trust
In The Lord
With All Your
Heart
Thanks mom and dad we love it. It is on my mantel shelf and I see it everyday.
It is simply beautiful

Yup baby Maddux is eating the paper again. This is his adorable tool bench that TY made me beg for on my knees in front of everyone at Target haha no but really he did. We were already over our budget for him because babies are so much fun to buy for and we both wanted this but he was trying to be responsible and he said I wasn't trying hard enough so I got down on my knees and begged for it and wala he gave in and M loves it.

Begging was so worth it look how happy it makes our little man.
He seriously didn't know what to do with himself he got so spoiled and so many things.
I think he was a bit overwhelmed and tired since we got him up so early.
Me trying to get him to open one more present before we lay him down for a nap
He wasn't having any part of it but once he saw it was little cars he got a lot more excited.

Little "M" got: big bouncer (Santa), glow seahorse (mom and dad), clothes (mom and dad), stocking stuff including snacks, tub toys, blocks, phone and tooth brush (Santa), cars (mom and dad), tool bench (mom and dad), soft cars (grandma and grandpa Jacobs), ABC framed (grandma and grandpa Jacobs), Little car (Julien), bench (grandma and grandpa Ulrich), Pillow pet (Grandma and Grandpa Ulrich), cute kangaroo toy (Gracie) A penguin ( great Grandma and Grandpa Kjar) SPOILED little man...But it was so much fun and he was so happy. Next year is going to be even more fun cuz he will be a little older and will get more excited about Santa but this year was so fun. Christmas is even better with a kid.

Me and my baby right before nap time. (excuse the no makeup face...yikes)
After Maddux was fed and laied down Ty and I open our presents from each other, Maddux and Santa.

I got: A black coat (Ty), Jewelry-chunky necklace, ear rings, and huge ring (Maddux), Dress (Santa), Shirt (Ty and Maddux), Eclipse (Santa), Jewelry- necklace and ear rings (Ammon) and Stocking stuff including awesome decorative tights, white tights, candy, necklace, nail polish and an orange.

Adam and Emilee trying out the Just dance game. Adam is a pro, Emilee is really good too.
Lets just say I need to practice.

Parker showing off his new Iron Man toy that he got from Maddux.

My families traditional Christmas breakfast is cinnomon rolls with green frosting in the shape of a Christmas tree,. We have had this every Christmas morning since I could remember and I LOVE it. Adam was really hungry so he made it for us this year. Thanks Adam it looks and tasted great. Isn't that tree so cute?

Ty was so tuckered out after all the opening presents extravaganza he fell asleep on the bench at the kitchen table haha.
Ty got: Shirt (me and Maddux), Hat (Maddux), Inception (Santa), Watch (me), tie set (Santa), Zach Brown Band CD (Amanda), and stocking stuff including dress socks, treats, shout wipes, whips, toothbrush and chap stick

Seb and Maddux...cute little cousins playing with their new toys after their naps.

After Maddux's nap he had two more not as fun presents to open from mommy and daddy. He got two new outfits and a dress shirt, pants, and a vest for church.

Look at the concentration :)

Headed for the wrapping paper...mmm his favorite present haha

After a lazy slow morning of openin presents and taking a nap we finally got all ready and headed over to my grandma and Grandpa Jacobs for a quick hello to my extended family and then we were off to Ty's parents house. When we got there Chris and Staci and Mike and Jess and the kiddos were all there. Dan and Brooke couldn't come up with Brooke being due soon and everything. But luckily we got to hang out with them not long ago at thanksgiving. After eating some delicious food prepared by everyone but mostly Julie and Jess...it was delicious...it was time to open more presents I know crazy more presents.

Baby M loves his new bench that spells out his very own name from his grandma and grandpa Ulrich.
He likes to take the letters out and tries to climb over it. Look at how happy he looks in this picture. I love it so much. It seriously melts my heart

M sweet little guy sitting on his new present. In his new comfy clothes. He looks like such a big boy.

From Ty's parents we got a panini press, and money. Thank you... and from Ty's grandma and grandpa Kjar we got money and treats. Thanks so much for everything you guys. While we were opening presents we got a visit from Ty's Grandma and Grandpa Kjar and his Grandma Ulrich it was fun to visit and just sit and chat.

The rest of the night we watched the kiddos play with their toys, ate food, talked, took pictures, watched TV and played games. Thanks for all the fun everyone. I loved being able to see both sides of the family on Christmas day it was so much fun for us and Maddux. Best Christmas yet! :) Maddux you were our favorite present this year...there is nothing better than being your mommy and daddy.
