TWILIGHT

So of course I am a crazy and had to go to the midnight showing last Thursday. It was so much stinkin fun! There is just something about going that first showing I don't know what it is but it is so exciting and I was just counting down the minutes to see how everyone else pictured the books that in my mind was one the greatest sets books I have ever read. I was so excited I wore my twilight T-shirt to school all day and of course everytime someone would ask about it I would just beam and brag that I was going to the midnight movie. People would tell me that they tried to get tickets two days before and were stund that they were sold out. Silly gooses I got my ticket three and a half weeks in advance. :) Anyways so it was fun to wear the shirt all day. Then when I got off work the T-shirt went back on and I was off to Runge's Twilight party! Her house was so cutely decorated with twilight all over and of course there was a lifesize Edward in our presence. That was my favorite part. I just wish it was mine. But anyway the food was delicious (red punch (blood), red velvet cake, and other delicious treats), the twilight trivia was fun and the vampire teeth were my favorite.

My vampire teeth!

After the party we went to the fabulous movie. It was really crazy and there weren't a lot of seats empty thats for sure. Runge and I talked to this guy that worked there for a while, while we waited for Ty to get off work. This guy was like the manager of the theater or something and he was telling us that his wife was the one that decorated the entry way of the theater. The decorations were awesome by the way. I for sure got my picture by the Forks sign. Anyway he was really cool and said that he read the books and liked them and that he had already seen the movie. Lucky! He totally thought we were cool too and talked Runge's ear off about Forks, because she had gone there just a few weeks before. And he gave us each a cool twilight button! Sweet I of course wore it the whole time. Wow! I am a Total Twilight NERD! So then Ty got to the theater at about eleven fifteen. Ha ha yup I totally made Ty come to the midnight showing with me and the other girls.

Eating popcorn with my vampire teeth. At this point there was like 20 minutes to go
I am so grateful I have an amazing husband that was so cute and willing to go to this movie with me. I owe him big time Maybe I should take him to 007. Thank you baby I had so much fun :)
Wow! then the time finally came for the movie to start! I can't even tell you I just loved it. I went into this knowing there was no way it could be as amazing as the book and have everything in it, but I loved it and I hated when the two hours were up I just wanted it to keep going. Some of the things were different from what I pictured. But oh my Gosh some things I swear were the exact same as I pictured.
Here are some things I pictured the same as they portrayed in the movie
1. Her truck
2. Her mom
3. Her house except I pictured her room on the right side of the bathroom not the left
4. the inside of the Cullen's house
5. Alice, Rosalee, and Emmett, not so much Jasper he looked at people weird haha
6. The scene in the ballet studio was perfect it is exactly the way I pictured it I swear
7. Billy
8. The baseball scene was pretty close.

A few things I pictured different
1. charlie, just a little different
2. Edwards piano, I pictured it white
3. The La Push scene with the boys
4. The way edward moved when he was going really fast

All in all I LOVED it though. Oh and I have actually seen it two times. I went and saw it with some of my friends yesterday. So I really really think that I liked the movie even MORE the second time. I don't know why, but I did. In fact after the movie was over yesterday I called Ty to tell him that I liked it even better that time. It made me feel slightly like I did when I read the book, it made me laugh, when bella left charlie it made me way sad, I got so freakin excited when they kissed finally haha. Love it loved it. I wouldn't be suprised if I saw it again. I will for sure be owning all of these movie and I can't wait for the others to come out. And until then I will just continue to read.

tHaNkFuL tHuRsDaY on Tuesday

So I haven't been very good at my thankful thursdays I have only done one the whole month so I am going to do a Thankful Tuesday and a Thankful thursday this week. One of the things that I am most grateful in my life is the gospel and specifically prayer. I am so grateful that I have wonderful parents that taught the gospel to me and knew how important it was so raise me and my siblings in the church. The gospel is my super human strength and it has never let me down. It is always there. It is always consistant. and it is always True. There is just so much comfort in the church. We know we will see our loved ones again when they die and when we die. We know the atonement and know we can be forgiven. We know there is a God. We know that we are constantly learning and growing. We know Christ lives and most of all that he loves us and that he is our big brother. I don't know what I would do without this truth and the feeling I get inside the the spirit is sitting right next to me. It keeps me going. I am grateful that we are constantly learning in church meetings and the temple. I need to hear it over and over to retain it all and to learn something new each time a topic has come up.

I am so thankful for prayer. It is amazing to have that line of communcation. I honestly don't know what I would do without it, literally. I am constantly seeking for answers. I love to have answers and to know what to do and what is the best thing to do. I know I don't always get an answer right away, but it eventually gets to me someway and at some point. I am also so grateful that I have the opportunity to constantly build my testimony. There are so many people in my life that have made it possible to feel that spirit and to recognize it. I am also thankful for the scriptures and I know that I need to read them more. Because when I read them with Ty he is able to explain everything that I don't understand and I love our discussions when we read. He helps me so much and helps me to learn and be a better person.

Good Things Utah

I love this show so much I try to watch it every monday, Wednesday and Friday because I have a break from class when it is on. I get so into it and I make Ty watch it with me. They have such fun table talk and segments everyday. I have gotten a lot of ideas from their show and I want to get some of their delicious recepies off their website. www.abc4.com My favorite segments are the roberts crafts ones because they always have such good craft, scrapbooking and decorating ideasNicea is my favorite, but I really like them all they all bring something else to the show and they all have fun personalities. I would totally love to meet them. So normally on Tuesdays I am not able to watch it but we recorded it because my mom was in the studio audience. Her and her card club friends all went together. Isn't that fun! I called her afterwords tonight and she told me it was so much fun. She got to go up and talk to all of them and ask they questions and stuff. She even gave Marti one of her business cards for her organizing business and Marti said that she would put the information on her blog so people would see it which will be great for her. My mom has her own website called
www.organizeyourstuffnow.com It is a really cool website. She gives out free types everyday on organizing everything you can think of for not only your house but organizing your life in general.
So I just thought it was fun to be watching it and seeing my mom in the audience a few times. One day I want to go with her.
On the show today they had some breaking news about Syracuse Jr. High which is the school that my little sister goes to. There was a suspicious package sent to the seminary building. And because there has been aditional threats and suspicious packages targeting the LDS church they didn't take any chances. It was in the seminary mail box this morning and it only contained a letter, but it caused quite a scare. Police officers, postal services and the bomb squad surounded Syracuse jr. high this morning. It was label as if the address was typed up printed out and then taped onto the envelope the return PO Box was also invalid. The police said there was nothing else on the outside of the envelope that indicated any danger but, because of everything else going on with the threats they didn't want to take any chances. The students had been evacuated from the seminary building and were all inside the main building of the school and were in lock down. They then sent the bomb squad into the building and took an x-ray of the package to make sure it didn't contain any wires or anything hazardous inside of it. When they felt it wasn't anything dangerous they took it out and it was sent to the crime lab. As of for the letter the police said it was just a bunch of rambling that didn't make any sense. It didn't end up being dangerous but it did cause quite a scare to the students and also to the parents. The police say there is no evidence linking this insident to the threats in Temple square and the LA temple, but they wanted to be safe. I talked to my little sister after and she said it was kind of scary just because they didn't know what was going on. They just said it wasn't a drill and didn't really tell them anything about it until after the fact. I am glad that proposition 8 passed, but I am upset and sad that these threats and out reaches are happening as a result.
****Also I made some watches for my friend Kelli and so I posted them up on the side of my blog. for some more styles and colors to check out. They are perfect Christmas gifts. Have fun browsing and don't hesitant to contact me about them.

Guys I can't even tell you all how excited I am about this. I have been fantisizing about having my own little business in a very long time. Now this isn't huge or anything but it is a cute little business that I think is just so much fun. For a while now I have been wanting to make these cute beaded watch bands and the other day I finally started buying my supplies. This might be silly, but I can't even sleep I am so excited to start making them and I hope all of you are as well. Ahhh! So I am going to start making these and selling them right away for family and friends.

ThAnKfUl tHuRsDaY!

Since I am using this as one of my journals I wanted to try something new this month Since it is November now I am going to write a blog everything Thursday about something I am grateful for. I know I have more than just four things I am grateful for but this will really allow me to set a side some time to really count those blessings. I am so grateful for a comfortable place to live with my wonderful husband. I feel so blessed to live in these townhomes. Thank you Dan and Brooke for helping us get in. I am so grateful for a garage (especially in the winter). I am grateful for a yard. I am grateful for a spare bedroom so we can have visitors. I am gratedul for planter shelves to decorate. I am grateful for everything our parents gave us to furnish and decorate our home. Here are some pictures of our home I am going to miss it when we have to move next year.

Gotta love those planter shelves. :) I don't know what we are going to do with all those decorations up there when we move.

I finally got that huge wall decorated.

Hopefully we will be getting a bed frame soon :)

Halloween!

Halloween was so much fun. When I go home from getting my nails done Ty had suprised me by cleaning the car, which was so awesome because it was getting pretty gross and he got me a halloween card and some gum. He is so cute he said that he wanted to make my favorite holiday special and that he wanted me to be happy. Then Ty was getting excited so we got all dressed up in our costumes. Ty was a wrestler. He found his singlet in one of his boxes and wore that with spandex and his Luchador mask he got in mexico with of course his black and orange tights. He looked awesome and he seemed like he had a lot of fun dressing up. I was a GoGo girl I found the shirt (that was suposed to be a dress, but barely covered my bum, so I made it a shirt) at a costume shop up North and I just wore my white pants, wedges, disco ear rings and wore my hair all flipped out. I had a lot of fun dressing up too! My mom was the same thing so I can't wait to see pictures of her in her costume.

We then started getting some trick or treaters. We only had a few before the trunk or treat was starting at the ward house so then we went to that. Parker was one of our trick or treaters and he looked so cute in his monkey costume. He loved putting the candy in his bag.

....Still putting candy in his bag :)

We then went over the the church for the trunk or treat and we were cleaned out of three bags of candy in only a half hour. There were three wards involved and a ton of kids. I know we don't have kids and all, but I really wanted to see all the costumes and I figured we wouldn't get many trick or treaters if they were all over at the church. There were so many cute and creative costumes and I loved seeing all the darling kiddos.

Little Parker man loving being a monkey.

I thought my costume was pretty cute especially with this cute little curious george attached to me.

After the trunk or treat we were off to St. George again. We decided to go chill out down there will the family and see the kids and pumpkins. There were so many people crouded around Dan and Brookes yard it was really cool.

Ty and Little Londer Bunders as a SUU cheerleaders. Isn't she adorable.
Me and Oaklyn

And the tough guys loving every minute of it

This has got to be my favorite pumpkin of the night. The Salt Lake Temple. Dad U. carved this one. It looks awesomeAfter all the extravaganzas we went back to Dave and Julies hotel room and stayed the night. We played a few games of Lucky under with them and Zach and then went to bed. What a fun day.

The Dan and Brooke Ulrich annual pumpkin carving party October 30th

Better late then never I guess. I haven't been a very good blogger lately. So last Thursday we went to Dan and Brookes pumpkin carving party. I was so excited to go to this party again. They are the most dedicated people I know when it comes to carving and they are the best I know. You can see their work on their blog they are incredible (for sure take a look it is worth it). It was so fun they had a lot of friends and family there to help them. Mom and Dad Ulrich even came down to see and experience all the fun. It was fun to carve some pumpkins, but I have to say my favorite part was seeing everyone and visiting. Thank you Dan and Brooke for this fun time.

My baby and I loving the PARTY!
Carving.....

Carving.....

Dad carving....

...and more carving!

This is TY entertaining the kids with a latex glove. He is the regular entertainer.

And here are the finished products.

Ty's golfing creation. Got to love that golfing

AHHHH... This was of course the one I carved I am so excited (I will talk about it more in another blog) And I DO Love Twilight

This is the second pumpkin I carved. It's Jack from the Nightmare Before Christmas. I also carved a different one of Jack last year so Ty and I decided it will be a new tradition. I will carve a Jack pumpkin every year.

Ty's second pumpkin. Mr. Bone Jangles from the Corpse Bride. Isn't it sweet? Coolest skeleton ever. Man we really love the tim Burton charaters don't we? :)
These last pictures are of the pumpkins that Dan and Brooke lined there driveway and lawn with on Halloween night. There were a lot of hours put into these. They had some help from family and friends but it was mostly Dan, Brooke and Mike's doing. Aren't they AMAZING! I am not this good as you can tell from my pumpkins compared to theirs, but I am learning and getting better each year. Can't wait until next time.
